Join our florist Jane Scott in the cosy surroundings upstairs in The Grocer at 33 and learn how to make a super long lasting dried flower wreath. Sip on a glass of Prosecco, nibble on The Grocer’s favourite Italian food tasters and get yourself all creative! Jane will guide you through her simple steps to making your own stylish eco-friendly Autumn wreath. It’s the perfect pre Christmas door decoration. And if you want to make your wreath festive season ready then simply add a Christmas ribbon and some mini pine cones. Jane is known for her unique artisan floral style that celebrates the beauty of working with seasonal materials and explores her fascination with colour. You will be using a traditional woven willow wreath ring base and then adding an abundance of fabulous dried flowers and foliages. Vibrant notes of tangerine and coral are mixed with shades of ecru, lilacs and beige. She will also demonstrate how to add the finishing flourish of ribbon. We suggest hanging your wreath on the door to make a lovely warm Autumnal welcome. Alternatively hang it over a mantelpiece or use it as a centrepiece on a dining table. Our workshops are wonderfully warm and friendly and are perfect for beginners or those wishing to practice their floral skills. All materials are included, equipment is provided and you are welcome to bring your own apron. Why not treat your mum, gather together a group of friends or simply pamper yourself for the evening.
